​My story

My sulfite story began long before I even realized it.  It took me decades to learn that the root of my symptoms and food reactions were sulfites! Unfortunately, medical school teaches very little about food science so I had a lot of learning to do and now I'm sharing what I know with you.

 

Once I started feeling better, I promised myself that I would do something to help educate the world about sulfite reactions and sulfitefreelife was born!

 

I am board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.  In real life, I have been practicing medicine for almost 20 years. I enjoy helping patients get  healthier with tools such as lifestyle changes, stress management, medications when appropriate and empowering patients to be advocates of their own health.
